Jiasikong Township

Jiasikong township is under the jurisdiction of Daofu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In 1960, Shangjia commune and Xiajia commune were established. In 1984, the two communes were restored respectively. In 1992, the two communes merged to build jiasikong township.

Jiasikong township is located in the west of the county, 60 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 976.29 square kilometers and has a population of 2631 (2017). The road is open. During the active period of rare wild animals, such as leopard, snow leopard, Golden Eagle, Hu vulture, Tibetan wild donkey, brown eared pheasant, etc., there are black bear, brown bear, red panda, small billed grouse, Tibetan eared pheasant, rock sheep, argali, etc., and they are rich in Cordyceps sinensis, Fritillaria, notopterygium, snow lotus, rhubarb, Astragalus and other precious Chinese herbal medicines, Tricholoma matsutake The edible fungi such as chicken oil fungus, Morchella esculenta and Bigfoot mushroom are favored by Chinese and foreign consumers.
