Jintang town

Jintang town is a small town under Kangding City, located in the northeast of Kangding City, 75 km away from the county seat, with an area of 200 square kilometers and a population of 3724 (2017). Originally, it was Jintang Township, adjacent to Sanhe Township and pengta township; later, Kangding County was set up as a city, and Jintang township was replaced by Jintang Town, with the original jurisdiction unchanged.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Kangding city (cfzm [2019] No. 25): Sanhe township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Jintang Town, which was stationed at No. 122 Yonghong road.

Agriculture mainly produces corn, wheat and soybean. Economic crops are rape, tobacco, hemp. Economic trees include walnut, Zanthoxylum bungeanum and apple. .
