Ciba Township

Located in the east of Heishui county. Ciba township is located in the southeast of Heishui county. The altitude of the township government is 3200 meters. The township covers an area of 41.82 square kilometers. The township governs three administrative villages (two administrative villages after the system adjustment: Ciba village and xibeiwo Village), seven villager groups with 926 people (2019). The actual cultivated land area is 1044 Mu and the area of returning farmland to forest is 2620 mu.

General situation

In 1988, there were 258 Tibetan households and 1029 people living in 10 Tibetan villages. It is the only pure mountain township in Heishui county. Ciba Township Committee and Township People's Government of Heishui County of the Communist Party of China are located in gewo, 60 kilometers away from the county seat.

Historical evolution

Ciba township is under the jurisdiction of gucanling and pingkang counties;

Ming Dynasty belongs to the maizha patriarch lawsuit. In the 42nd year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1703 AD), a thousand households were set up in Ciba. During the reign of Tongzhi, tushoubei was set up, which was called "seven cloth" tugong;

Ciba township was established in October 1956;

In October 1959, more than ten villages were designated to be under the jurisdiction of shuangliusuo township;

Hongfeng people's commune was established in the spring of 1967;

In January 1984, the township system was restored. At present, there are three villagers committee members in gewo, xibeiwo and Shenglun.
