Zhongxi town

Zhongxi town is located in the southeast of Ningguo City, Xuancheng City, at the junction of Anhui and Zhejiang, 30 kilometers away from Ningguo City in the north and 140 kilometers away from Hangzhou City in the south. It is adjacent to hanglong Town, Anji County, Zhejiang Province in the northeast, Xianxia town in the southeast, ningdun town in the southwest and Meilin town in the northwest.

In 2017, the administrative area of Zhongxi town was 20400 hectares, with 22626 permanent residents.

Zhongxita town was set up in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.

After liberation, the administrative divisions of Zhongxi town and the nearby rural areas were as many as seven times.

At the beginning of the people's Republic of China, there were three administrative villages, Zhongxi, Dongpo and Shichuan.

Zhongxi township was established in 1952. It was incorporated into ningdun commune in 1958.

Zhongxi commune was established in 1961.

Zhongxi township was rebuilt in 1983.

After the reform and opening up, with the completion and operation of Zhongxi seal factory, the predecessor of ASIMCO, the construction of Zhongxi market town has entered a period of rapid development.

In October 1984, Zhongxi town was set up. In 1987, Zhongxi, Dongpo and Shikeng three administrative villages and 36 villager groups were under its jurisdiction.

In May 2001, Zhongxi Town, Shikou town and Shiqiao Town were merged to form a new Zhongxi Town, which governs six villages (Shikou, Zhongxi, Zhongtian, Fenghuang, Shiqiao and Xialin) and 204 villager groups.

Zhongxi town is located in the southeast of Ningguo City, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, at the junction of Anhui Province and Zhejiang Province. It is 30km away from Ningguo City in the north and 140km away from Hangzhou City in the south. It is adjacent to hanglong Town, Anji County, Zhejiang Province in the northeast, Xianxia town in the southeast, ningdun town in the southwest and Meilin town in the northwest. Dongjin river flows through the town from southeast to northwest and flows into Shuiyang river. The provincial highway S104 runs across the whole territory, connecting Anji County, Zhejiang Province, and the Heqian line goes straight to Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. With obvious location advantages and convenient land and water transportation, it is known as the "bridgehead" of Ningguo's integration into Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.

Ningguo Zhongxi Central Primary School
