Xuankou town is located in the southeast of Wenchuan County, bordering Dujiangyan City, 67 km north of Wenchuan County, and 213 national highway, with convenient transportation. It borders Yingxiu town in the East and North, Shuimo town in the west, and Gengda Township in Wolong Nature Reserve in the northwest. It is the throat of Aba Prefecture. Xuankou town is located in the subtropical humid climate zone on the edge of Sichuan Basin. The area is rich in resources. Tourism resources are also the main development project of the town.

It is an important place to get in and out of Aba Prefecture. due to the construction of Zipingpu Reservoir, the former Baihua Township and Xuankou town were formally merged on August 29, 2006, and now the town government is building a new one in Wayao Village, the former Baihua township.

Xuankou town has an average annual temperature of 10 ℃ - 14.4 ℃, an average annual precipitation of 1400mm, and an annual frost free period of 300 days. It has the characteristics of rainy and foggy, four distinct seasons, hot summer and mild winter. The main climate disaster is rainstorm and frost.

The soil in Xuankou town is as follows

1. Xiaomaxi Village:

there are more than 16000 mu of collective primeval forest, and the road for machine farming is also open. The environment is very beautiful. There are streams and streams, and the altitude is between 900-2000. Due to the pollution of lithium salt factory, the life and production of local villagers are inconvenient, and the life of local villagers is very difficult, which is the first concern. 2. Ziping:

It is located in group 5 of Guxi village, Xuankou town (behind Baiyun Ding). It is about 950 meters above sea level and covers an area of 200 mu. It is backed by Xiongfeng and has a panoramic view of lakes and mountains.

3. Changle temple, Baolian Temple:

both of them are located in group 2 of Wayao Village, an ancient temple in the Ming Dynasty, with towering purple cypresses and bamboo trees in between.

4. Bajiao Temple:

pollution free enterprises, with more than 4500 mu of virgin forest and 4.7 km of cement pavement, have good access conditions.
