Nuojiang town

Nuojiang town is located in Tongjiang County Party committee and county government. It is the political, economic, cultural, transportation, information and people flow logistics center of the whole county. The town covers an area of 129.54 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, 145 villager groups and 8 community neighborhood committees, 89 resident groups, with a total population of 163251 (2017). In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in the town was 5013 yuan, and the disposable income of urban residents was 13650 yuan.

On May 25, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Bazhong City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Tongjiang County and Pingchang county (cfzm [2020] No. 4): the administrative areas of Jiaoping village and zhouziping village in Minsheng town are under the jurisdiction of nuojiang town.
