Jiuzhen Township

Jiuzhen is located in the northwest of Enyang District, Bazhong City, at the junction of Cang, en and Lang counties (districts). It is 50 km away from Baicheng and 33 km away from Enyang district government. It covers an area of 28.03 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 760 meters. It has jurisdiction over 8 villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 52 Village (neighborhood) groups, with a total population of 9105 people (2017). The GDP of the township is 43 million yuan, and the per capita net income is 7662 yuan.

In 1998, it was named as "fruit medicine seedling base township" by the Municipal People's government; in 2005, it was evaluated as "provincial fruit medicine seedling standardization construction base" by the provincial quality supervision.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Bazhong City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns in three counties (districts) including Bazhou District (cfzm [2019] No. 23): nine towns were established by abolishing nine towns and townships, and the former administrative region of nine towns and townships was the administrative region of nine towns.
