Jianshan Township

Jianshan township is subordinate to Mingshan District, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the northwest suburb of the city, 10 kilometers away from the city. Covering an area of 33.79 square kilometers, it governs 6 villages (Jianyang, Hengshan, Anle, Zhiguan, Feishui, Anji), 48 cooperatives, with a total population of 7483 (2017). The whole Jianshan mountain is in a north-south trend, with Lianhua Mountain range in the west, hills on both sides, and Hengshan Temple Jianshan aqueduct in the middle, forming a "V" shaped valley of Zhuchang River and Mingshan river.

Jianshan township is adjacent to Ya'an Bifengxia ecological scenic spot, mengdingshan scenic spot and BAIMAQUAN in Shangli town of Ya'an. It has unique advantages in tourism development. There are Zhiguan temple, Jianshan aqueduct and other scenic spots in the territory. Among them, Zhiguan Temple scenic spot was built in the Tang Dynasty, covering an area of 20 mu, and was expanded in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. There are Tianchi, Panlong, Yongquan talin, tieqiufen and other scenic spots in the scenic area, as well as many beautiful ancient legends about Panlong, tieqiufen and Guanyinyan. There are still many historical sites left in the long march of the Red Army in 1935. Jianshan aqueduct is a diversion aqueduct of the main canal of Yuxi River built in 1974. It spans 799 meters from east to west and is supported by six pillars.
