Linxi Township
Linxi township is named after Linxi temple, an ancient temple. Linxi temple was built in Tang Dynasty. It is called zhongjiagou in the upper Qi Dynasty, guangzigou in the lower Qi Dynasty. It's sunny and rainy. A temple is built in the middle, so it's called Linxi temple. Linxi Township used to be an important post station on Baiyang ancient plank road. In Tang and Song Dynasties, it was a residential area of Qiang people, and the trade of mountain goods and department stores was prosperous.
On September 15, 1989, Chaotian district was established in Guangyuan City, and Linxi was under the jurisdiction of Chaotian district. The township governs 7 villages, 52 villager groups, 1743 households and 6676 people.
After the adjustment and reform of township administrative division in 2019, Linxi township is one of the 12 townships reserved in Chaotian district. After the adjustment of village level system in 2020, Linxi township has jurisdiction over 5 villages and 1 community, with a total population of 2080 households and 6674 people.
Physical and geographical conditions
Linxi township is located in the southeast of Chaotian District, 10.7 km long from north to South and 8.7 km wide from east to west. It is adjacent to Zengjia town in the East, Shahe Town in the west, Chaotian town in the north and Maliu Township in the south, covering an area of 51.69 square kilometers. Township government resident Linxi temple, 1092 meters above sea level, 45 kilometers away from the district government.
The average altitude of the township is 1050 meters, the highest peak is tianchiliang, 1512 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is mingshuidong, 662 meters above sea level. The climate is humid, with an average annual rainfall of 1200 mm, an average annual temperature of 13 ℃, a maximum temperature of 32 ℃, a minimum steam temperature of - 6 ℃, and a frost free period of 215 days, which belongs to the warm monsoon climate of Qinba subtropical zone.
The forest coverage rate of Linxi township is 76%, and the vegetation is mainly pine and cypress, as well as miscellaneous shrub bamboo and rare tree species, with good air quality.
Linxi Township belongs to the karst fold fracture Zhongshan karst landform, the mountain shape is a strip ridge, parallel arrangement, stretching westward, with many funnel caves and well-developed Dongquan underground river. The ground is mainly composed of karst caves, small karst basins, sinkholes, short narrow valleys and so on. The soil structure is mainly composed of sand site, yellow site, sticky silk and stone bone. Most of them are resistant to drought but not waterlogging.
According to the general survey of tourism resources in Chaotian District, there are 1 level 4 resources (Tianchi mountain, Linxi township) and 10 level 3 resources. The total area of meadow in Tianchi mountain is about 350 mu. The scenery of Tianchi mountain is "enjoying flowers in spring, camping in summer, looking far in autumn and enjoying snow in winter". Especially in summer, surrounded by rows of tall pines and cypresses among flowers, tourists who take part in camping and photography can't forget to return. At present, the preliminary tourism planning has been carried out and the supporting facilities have been completed.

There is a county-level highway running through the north and south of the township - shazeng highway, which has four levels of mountain weight. There are village roads leading to all villages, and there are group household roads extending in all directions, basically forming a highway network. From 2016 to the end of 2019, more than 70 kilometers of hardened village roads will be built in the whole Township, and all roads to villages will be widened to realize 100% access to hardened roads in villages and groups. The four level transportation network system for rural households has been basically formed, which has solved the problems of travel, driving and development for the masses. There are 135 new people's drinking projects, 35 drought prevention pools, and one Shanping pond. More than 110000 meters of drinking water pipelines have been laid. 100% of the people in the township use safe and sanitary water. All village groups in the township have completed the rural power grid transformation, and the household power consumption rate of farmers is 100%. Among the 35 villager groups in the township, 12 have access to natural gas, with a coverage rate of 34.3%
Main economic indicators
In 2019, Linxi township will achieve an industrial added value of 950000 yuan, accounting for 101.5% of the target task. Fixed assets investment of 25.65 million yuan was completed, accounting for 100.2% of the annual task, and one investment promotion project was signed. The cultivated land area of the township is 22544.4 mu, the grain output is 5000 tons, the oil output is 308 tons, the vegetable planting area is 26352 mu, the output is 78710 tons, and the per capita village income of farmers is 12785.5 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%.
Poverty alleviation
As of October 2019, two poverty-stricken villages have been withdrawn, and 930 people in 295 households have been lifted out of poverty.
Linxi township has a standard convenient service center with a site area of 200 square meters, complete institutions, 8 convenient service windows and 22 staff. The layout is reasonable and the functions are complete. The entry matters meet the needs of the local people. There is a central school with 7 classes, 196 students and 27 staff. The average teaching and auxiliary room area is 7.16 m2, the average number of books is 37.2, the teacher-student ratio is 1:8.7, and the qualification rate of teachers is 100%. There is one qualified health center with a building area of 1693 square meters and a floor area of 2.53 mu. There are 12 actual beds, 12 actual open beds and 8 professional and technical personnel. The department setting, facilities and equipment, business development and organization certificates all meet the requirements of standardized construction.
In 2020, about 600 mu of pepper will be planted in the township, with a direct economic income of about 5 million yuan; about 1000 mu of potato will be planted, with a direct economic income of about 3 million yuan; and about 800 mu of bamboo will be planted. There is a potato breeding base and a provincial agricultural machinery professional cooperative in the township.
