Mengdingshan town

Mengdingshan town is located in the west of Mingshan District, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 27.01 square kilometers. The terrain is composed of hills and flat dams. National Highway 318, 108 straight line and Cheng Ya highway pass through, 113 km east to Chengdu, 12 km west to Ya'an, the traffic is very convenient. Mengding Mountain is a unique town. In the Western Han Dynasty, Ganlu was abundant (53-50 BC). Wu Lizhen, a native, went to Mengding Mountain to plant tea. Mengding Mountain is the earliest birthplace of tea culture in China. Mengding Mountain is the hometown of "immortal tea". Since Tang Tianbao Yuanfeng (742), Mengding Mountain tea has been paid tribute to the imperial palace.

On December 11, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns in Ya'an City (cfzm [2019] No. 14): the administrative areas of Xugou village and guantian village in the former Chengdong Township, Defu community, Heping Village, Guankou village, Jianzhu village in the former Mengyang Town, Jianyang village and Zhiguan village in the former Jianshan Township were put under the jurisdiction of mengdingshan town. After the adjustment, mengdingshan town governs the administrative areas of Defu community, Xugou village, guantian village, Heping Village, Guankou village, Jianzhu village, Jianyang village, Zhiguan village, Jinhua village, Huaixi village, Mengshan village, Mingya village, Shuinian village and Lihua village, and the people's Government of mengdingshan town is stationed at 202, the lower section of Huangcha Avenue.
