Xiandu town
Xiandu town is located in the south of Qu county, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, on the West Bank of Qujiang River. It governs one community and 10 administrative villages. The people's Government of Xiandu town is located at 117 Xiandu street, 12 kilometers away from the county. 157 County Road and 318 national road meet in the territory, and the Qujiang River is navigable all the year round.
Historical evolution
Qu county governs towns. In the early years of the Republic of China, it was Xiandu town. Xiandu Township and Baota Township were established in 1952 and merged into Xiandu Township in 1955. Xiandu commune was changed in 1958 and Baota commune was set up in 1962. In 1984, it was changed to Xiandu Township and Baota township. In 1996, Xiandu Township, with an area of 18 square kilometers and a population of 15000, had jurisdiction over eight administrative villages and one neighborhood committee in Wuting, Guanfang, Jinhua, shigu, MIPO, Duanqiao, Xiangtai and Tangshan; Baota Township, with an area of 12 square kilometers and a population of 6000, had jurisdiction over four administrative villages in Shimen, Yulin, shuangzhai and Baishu. In December 2003, Daqiu village and Wufeng village of Baota Township and Langya town were merged into Xiandu town.

Xiandu town is located in the south of Quxian County, on the West Bank of Qujiang River, 11.5km away from the county. 157 county road meets 318 National Road, and Qujiang River is navigable all the year round. Township enterprises have winery, building materials, grain and oil processing plants. Agricultural production of rice, corn, sugarcane, peanut, rapeseed. Breeding industry to pigs, cattle, poultry, freshwater fish.
