Lianyin Township

Lianyin township is located in the South Gate of Dazhu County, which is the junction of urban and rural areas, with an area of 24.82 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Chuanzhu Township in the East, Qingshui town in the South and Zhubei Township in the West. The Township People's government is 4.5km away from the county seat, with national highway 210 and provincial highway 218 running across the territory. There are 6 administrative villages and 41 villager groups with a total population of 10440 (2017). The cultivated land area is 9289 mu, including 4681 mu of farmland and 4569 mu of soil. The per capita net income of farmers in 2006 was 3481 yuan, 270 yuan more than that in 2005.

Location profile

Dongliuhekou flows through the township from north to south, with a length of 8.5 km.
