On June 12, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns in Wanyuan City, Xuanhan county and Dazhu County (cfzm [2020] No. 8); Qingyun Township and Aikou Township were abolished, and the administrative areas of Qingyun Township and Aikou Township were put under the jurisdiction of maduguan Town, and the people's Government of maduguan town was stationed at No. 32 Xiaozhai street, Shilin community.

history

Madu pass was the ancient thoroughfare for Bashu to go out of the basin to the north and reach the Central Plains. It was set up in the 18th year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the southern and Northern Dynasties and the Tang Dynasty, it successively set up Xin'an County and langying County for 342 years. The name of "Madu pass" was used in 1754.

Maduguan is an important birthplace of Eastern Sichuan folk songs. Men, women, old and young can write and sing at will. It has rich singing, wide themes and distinctive features. There are 400 Eastern Sichuan folk songs, and Madu owns more than 200. Madu is "the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art, the hometown of Sichuan folk art (characteristics) culture, and the hometown of Eastern Sichuan folk songs". It is the hometown of Li yiruo, the author of Kangding Love song, the world's top ten folk songs, and the birthplace of Su Erjie, China's four major folk songs.

Since 2015, the local Party committee and government have made great efforts to contribute to Xuanhan's tourism by building Madu pass into "the hometown of walking along the ancient road in eastern Sichuan, the holy land of mountain and water health, and the paradise of folk songs transmission"; adhering to the principle of "cadres taking the lead and the whole people participating", they have carried out the activity of "everyone singing Madu folk songs" for the first time in history; they have participated in the activities of Dazhou Federation of Arts, Sichuan University of Arts and science, Dazhou Musicians Association Under the promotion of Sichuan Road and other aspects, the "Dazhou city maduguan folk song Characteristic Culture Research Association" was established; through all means to report and strive, maduguan litchi ancient road was included in the Shu Road to declare the world natural and cultural heritage, and maduguan litchi ancient road has entered the preparatory list of the United Nations World Heritage Center. As the military fortress of Cuba Shu, Guangyuan Jianmen pass and Dazhou Madu pass are recognized by all walks of life as the "high-speed" of Cuba Shu trade, which has laid a foundation for the long-term development of Madu pass tourism.

Travel

Maduguan has basically had the ability of tourism reception. In Dazhou city and even Eastern Sichuan, "maduguan fever" of rural cultural tourism has formed. Tourists come from Britain, Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing, Bazhong, Nanchong and other places, and tourism is becoming a pillar industry for the 17000 mountain areas of maduguan to get rid of poverty and make progress.
