Liangban Township
Liangban township is under the jurisdiction of Linshui County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province. Liangban township was set up in 1940, Liangban commune was changed in 1958, and Liangban township was restored in 1984. It is located in the middle of the East and West troughs of Linshui, at the junction of the two troughs, 10 kilometers away from the county seat, passing through the provincial road. The township covers an area of 48.28 square kilometers.
Liangban Township governs 8 administrative villages, including Shanjian, Qingshui, Baima, Gaolong, Shuguang, Daba, Huanglong and Hongqi, with 83 villager groups and a total population of 8559 (2017). the terrain in the territory is high in the north and low in the south, with the highest altitude of 732m and the lowest altitude of 386m. Agricultural production of rice, corn, wheat, sweet potato, rapeseed. There are pigs, cattle and poultry in the breeding industry. Economic crops include citrus, ramie, watermelon and tea. Liangban township is rich in mineral resources, dolomite, limestone resources are very rich. Huanglong cave and Qingyan cave are of great value for tourism development. Ruifeng hall, a thousand year old temple, is a unique tourist attraction. Liangban township's industrial economy is led by raising native chickens, while driving the development of Nanjiang Yellow sheep and pig industry. The industrial economy focuses on Qingshui gravel plant and Changlin wood industry. Liangjiu highway and Lianggu highway in the whole township have all been hardened, and the highway has been connected to every village. The drinking water project has realized that more than 90% of the villagers in the whole township have used tap water. At the same time, the social security system of Liangban township was improved, with a nursing home, which comprehensively solved the living problems of the elderly under the five guarantees, issued military subsidies on time, implemented the minimum living security for the extremely poor households, provided appropriate assistance to the households without housing, solved the employment problems of landless farmers and laid-off workers, and realized social stability.
