Happy town

Xingfu town is located in the southeast of the city, with Dujiangyan water conservancy project as its northernmost peak. The maximum horizontal distance from east to west is 9 km, and the maximum vertical distance from north to south is 5.2 km, covering an area of 24.83 square kilometers and 8533 mu of cultivated land. It borders Xu's hometown in the East, Juyuan town in the south, Yutang town across Jinma River in the southwest, and Guankou town across Minjiang River, Neijiang River and Baitiao River in the north. It is the gateway from Chengdu to Dujiangyan City. Happy town used to be a suburb of the city.

In the summer of 1952, the rural areas of Zhicheng town and Xinmin Town under the jurisdiction of Chengguan District were set as Zhicheng town and Xinmin Town respectively. In the autumn of 1955, after the division adjustment, the two townships merged into new urban and rural areas. In September 1958, it merged with Juyuan and Xujia to establish the general headquarters of happy people's commune. In October 1961, the system was decentralized and Juyuan, Xujia and Xincheng people's communes were established respectively. In July 1969, Xincheng people's commune was changed into happy people's commune (it was renamed because Mao Zedong, chairman of the CPC Central Committee, inspected Lianhua village on March 21, 1958). In December 1983, the happy people's commune was changed into a happy township. In July 1989, Xingfu township was abolished and established as Xingfu town.

Historical evolution

Happy town used to be a suburb of the city. administrative division

In 1999, it governed the management committees of Taiping Street, Gongyuan road and KuiGuang Road, 13 residents' committees and 10 administrative villages of Yongfeng, Lianhua, Lianhua, Lianmeng, Yonggui, Wanshou, Shima, Minzhu, Guanfeng, Xingfu and Tazi. The town government was originally located in the north side of Li Bing's father and son sculpture on the triangle island of guanfenglou, Yingbin Avenue. in April 2000, it was moved to the left side of the lower section of Dujiangyan Avenue.

Agriculture

The town belongs to plain landform, with the highest altitude of 734 meters (Yuzui in Dujiangyan) and the lowest altitude of 700 meters. The terrain is slightly inclined from northwest to Southeast. Zouma River, Jiang'an River and baitiaohe River pass through the town. They are first irrigated by Dujiangyan and are rich in rice, wheat, rapeseed, vegetables and fruits. After 1998, we gradually adjusted the agricultural industrial structure with the market as the guide, developed a group of large growers and planting experts in Yonggui, Wanshou, Shima and Minzhu villages, and established a new vegetable planting base; while consolidating the flower planting base in Lianhua village, we also established a new flower planting base in Yonggui village.

Industry

Xingfu town is a rural area near the city, with neither streets nor market towns. In history, there were only workshop type grain and oil processing industries, such as oil pressing, rice milling, flour milling and vermicelli. After 1985, the development speed of enterprises has accelerated. In 1989, the output value of the enterprise exceeded 100 million yuan, becoming the first town with 100 million yuan. Since 1992, the quality of enterprises has been gradually improved. According to the statistics at the end of 1999, there were 102 enterprises of certain scale and efficiency in the town, including 86 private enterprises. The total output value of the enterprise is 315 million yuan. The main products are calcium carbonate series, metal electrolytic manganese, magnetic materials, wood products, prefabricated construction, daily chemical products, etc.
