Zhenzhou town

Zhenzhou town is located in the southeast of Junlian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 63.18 square kilometers. It is 42 km to the southeast of the county, connecting Gaokan luobiao in the East, muai in the north, luomuruo town and tuanlin Township in the southwest, and Zhenzhou river flows into Nanguang River in the north of Henan Province. The town has 1 residents' committee, 7 villagers' committees, 30 groups and a population of 15709 (2017).

The territory has complex geology, rich underground anthracite, limestone all over the villages, strange karst landforms and rich water resources; Zhenzhou river runs through the whole territory, and two small hydropower stations (Dongkou power plant and luoguotan power plant) have been developed; the territory has developed transportation, and every village has access to public roads, and Junmin and jungao highways run through the hinterland, with a highway mileage of 130 km; mobile communication covers the whole town, and the power supply is high With a total installed capacity of 800 gates, radio and television have covered the whole town. On August 24, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns in Yibin City: Gaokan township was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Zhenzhou Town, and Zhenzhou Town People's government was stationed at No. 612, group 1, Xingyi community.
