Zaobi Township
Zaobi Township, once a township in Langzhong City, Sichuan Province, was merged into Siyi town in October 2019. Zaobi township is located in the northwest of Langzhong City, connecting Yakou in the East, Beimen in the west, Zhiping in the South and Xiaoya in the north. It is 40 li away from the city and 572 meters above sea level. Before liberation, it was a part of zaobi Township in Nanbu county. In 1951, it was established as zaobi township. In 1958, it was united into zaobi people's Commune by 29 small communes. In 1984, it was restored and renamed zaobi township.
Historical evolution
The historical evolution of zaobi Township
Zaobi, known as Zuobi and Zuobi Temple (also known as Wenchang Temple) in Baoning Fu Zhi, was built by Yang Dayuan, the governor of Langzhou at the end of Song Dynasty. It lives on Langjian road in the south of ancient Shu Road. According to the original inscriptions of the temple, the Minister of the temple was appointed to the provincial government and Yang Dayuan to build the temple.
Warring States Period: the capital of BA was moved to Langzhong, and zaobi belonged to Bazi.
In the ninth year of gengyuan (316 BC), King Huiwen of Qin Dynasty, Qin destroyed the state of Ba, and zaobi was incorporated into the state of Qin with Langzhong.
In the 11th year of gengyuan, King Huiwen of Qin Dynasty (316 BC), Langzhong county was established in Qin Dynasty, and zaobi belonged to Langzhong.
In the sixth year of Taikang (285) in the Western Jin Dynasty, Brazil county was divided into LANGXIAN County, Cangxi County and qicong County in the north, and zaobi and Siyi areas were separated.
In 420, the first year of Yongchu in the Southern Dynasty, it belonged to Huyuan County of north Brazil.
In the Yuan Jia period of the Southern Dynasty (424-453), Nan'an county was established in the northeast of Zitong County, and it was changed into Jianzhou in the Tang Dynasty.
In Sui and Tang Dynasties, Huyuan county was changed to Linjin county
In 1646, the Qing Dynasty established Sichuan Province. In Langzhong, zaobi belonged to Anren Township, Nanbu county.
In the Republic of China, the township was built in 1936 and still belonged to Nanbu county.
In 1953, zaobi returned to Langzhong and established Siyi, zaobi and other townships.
In 2019, zaobi township was withdrawn and merged into Siyi town.
In general, in history, with the regional changes, zaobi township was divided into Langzhong, Cangxi, Jiange and southern counties in different periods.
