Xianlin town

Xianlin town is located in Xichong County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. It is under the jurisdiction of Taiping District of Xichong County. It is 23 kilometers northeast of Quanji township. Xianlin town is located in Xichong County, surrounded by Huaguang and Dailin, covering an area of 23.3 square kilometers. It has 12 administrative villages and 101 villager groups.

On October 29, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Nanchong City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 7 counties (cities, districts) including Gaoping District: Huaguang township was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Xianlin Town, and Xianlin Town People's government was stationed at No.1 town.

It has jurisdiction over 12 village committees including Jiadi temple, Mayong temple, Weimo Bay, shilaozui, jingyaguan, tiaodanzi, changlongguan, qiaofengba, LAILONGSHAN, qiaojiagou, huanglianping and sansheng'an. Xianlin stone pagoda

It is a pavilion style nine story six square stone structure xiziku tower built in 1837. It has a height of 16 meters, and its base is covered bowl type xumizuo. Xianlin stone pagoda has a long body, unique shape and high artistic value.

The first layer of the tower is hollow for burning paper, and the other eight layers are solid. Six hollow stone pillars were used in each layer. On the first floor, six stone pillars are carved to support the eaves of the pagoda, and three characters "Xi Zi Ku" are engraved on the forehead; on the second floor, "Dai Kuang Shu Cai" is engraved on the forehead, and on both sides, "Zhu Ji Rong Kai RI, Yun Bian Xi Shi" is engraved; on the third floor, the couplet on the front is "the six books are divided into right and wrong, and the eight styles are indistinct"; on the second floor of the pagoda, the words "the chronology of the 17th year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, Ding You Shi Jiu Jian Li" are engraved.
