Xinglong Street

Xinglong Street in Tianfu New District of Chengdu City is located in the west of the middle part of Longquan mountains. It belongs to the low mountain and hilly area of Longquan Mountain system. It is located in the core area of Tianfu New District, covering an area of 41.17 square kilometers, 10 administrative villages and one community, with a total of 9025 households and 30887 people. The per capita net income is 19886 yuan, and the per capita disposable income is 24858 yuan. Dongshan expressway, Chengdu Zigong Luzhou expressway, Zizhou Avenue (South extension of Hongxing Road), central axis of Tianfu Avenue, Wuhan road (main road), airport expressway, Shenzhen road and middle road of Science City (freight Avenue) all cross Xinglong Street.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Chengdu to adjust the administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District (cfzm [2019] No. 24): Xinglong town was abolished and Xinglong Street was established. The original administrative region of Xinglong town was the administrative region of Xinglong Street, and Xinglong Street office was located at No. 53, Zhengjie street.

Evolution of organizational system

At the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to the seventh district of Huayang county. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fourth District of Huayang county. In 1950, it belonged to the Sixth District of Huayang county. In 1958, Xinglong people's commune was established.

On March 27, 1965, the 154th meeting of the State Council decided to abolish the establishment of Huayang county and merge it into Shuangliu County. On April 8, the people's Committee of Sichuan Province issued a notice of withdrawing and merging counties. On July 1, Huayang county was formally merged into Shuangliu County, with 18 communes (including Xinglong) and 3 towns under its jurisdiction merged into Shuangliu County.

In 1982, it was restored to Xinglong Township.

In 2001, the system of Xinglong Township was abolished and Xinglong town was set up.

On December 1, 2013, social management, public services and other affairs of Xinglong Town, Shuangliu County were managed and served by Chengdu District Management Committee of Tianfu New District, Sichuan Province.

In 2015, 12 towns (including Xinglong town) in Tianfu New District of Chengdu were approved by the municipal government to add Street office signs.

In December 2019 and December 2019, according to the document (CFH [2019] No. 127), Xinglong town was abolished and Xinglong Street was established. The original administrative area of Xinglong town was the administrative area of Xinglong Street, and Xinglong Street office was located at No. 53, Zhengjie street.

In 2005, there were 1 middle school, 1 Central Primary School, 3 kindergartens, 1 adult education school with more than 2800 students; cultural and sports centers, radio and television stations and other cultural and entertainment places; mass cultural and sports events such as fire dragon, lion lantern, Sichuan opera singing and riding; and 1 public hospital.

In 2010, there were 5 primary schools, junior middle schools, adult education schools and kindergartens in the town, with 180 teaching staff and 2874 students. Primary and secondary schools have completed the construction of Integrated Education Park, and the enrollment rate of school-age children has reached 100%. One comprehensive cultural station at the town level, 12 fitness places and 10 rural libraries have been built to carry out activities such as farmers' reading, artistic performances and special tours.
