Qiuya Township

Old town name. See Daping town for details. Yuanqiuya township is located in the northwest of Nanbu County, bordering Yanting County, 97 kilometers away from the county seat, covering an area of 43.26 square kilometers.

In October 2019, qiuya township will be abolished and its administrative area will be put under the jurisdiction of Daping town. The people's Government of Daping town will be stationed at 106 Zhengjie street.

economic development

The township is mainly engaged in grain and oil production and diversified operation. It is the production base of pigs, sericulture, goats and peanuts in Nanbu County, and has basically formed industrialization. In 2006, the total income of rural economy was 28.097 million yuan, including 12.544 million yuan from planting and 8.242 million yuan from animal husbandry. The area of multiple cropping of crops is 20478 mu, that of plastic film ridge planting of peanuts is 1700 mu, and that of vegetables is more than 2600 mu. The total annual grain output was 7179.6 tons, oil 1603 tons, 8150 live pigs sold, 8764 in stock, and 300000 small poultry and livestock. The township party committee and government took advantage of the registered trademark of "Xihe mountain goat" to form an international brand, and promoted large-scale and standardized planting of grass and sheep, with 25000 goats sold in the whole year. The township government has also issued direct grain subsidies and improved seed subsidies to farmers, and has achieved all-in-one card. All the peasants in the township have been exempted from agricultural tax. The annual per capita net income of farmers was 2185 yuan.

There is a primary school in the township, which is divided into junior middle school department and primary school department. There are 946 students in the school. All the students have implemented "two exemptions and one subsidy". The enrollment rate of school-age children in the township is 100%, the consolidation rate of students in the school is 100%, and that of primary school to junior middle school is 100%. In 2006, the township health center invested more than 500000 yuan to build a new inpatient building, which made the township health undertaking leap to a new level in hardware. The rate of farmers participating in the new rural cooperative medical insurance reached 90%. The family planning rate, the comprehensive birth control rate and the birth rate are all under control. The "three combinations and three services" of family planning have been implemented, with a completion rate of 100%. Some rural family planning policies have been implemented and honored. In 2006, it won the second prize of county family planning standard assessment. The number of users of optical fiber closed circuit television in villages has reached 1500. Two telecommunication and mobile communication base stations have been built, with more than 3000 mobile phone users

tourist resources

Qiuya township has green mountains and beautiful scenery. Tourism resources are very rich, especially Li Fengguan. Li Fengguan, located on the Queen's mountain, is a thousand year old temple. It was built in the 11th year of Dade in the Yuan Dynasty. The palace of huangniang is still well preserved. Its Dougong architectural style is unique. It is one of the only seven Yuan Dynasty buildings in Sichuan. There are also some historic sites and beautiful legends left over here, such as huangniang tomb, Paomaling, parade platform, "lixiongya", "wangfushi", "Yinmahe", "ximatan". It has high tourism development value. In May 2006, the State Council announced lifengguan as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
