Adults cut a young bamboo that is about the same height as their children, choose one or several sections, break it from the middle, take a circle made of bamboo, prop up the broken bamboo, and set up the skeleton of a "toad lamp". Then pour kerosene or mud into the bamboo tube at the bottom of the lantern, insert a few wicks or candles, paste a circle of white or red paper on the outside, leave a small door for lighting, and make a "toad lamp" full of prayer and blessing. In the evening, every household's "toad lamp" lights up one after another. In the sound of firecrackers, thousands of people gathered together with "toad lamp". The old man was holding his grandson, the mother was holding his child, and friends were walking in groups to the beach nearest to home. On the beach, people lit the whole "toad lamp" in their hands and sang "send the toad..." He threw the burning "toad lamp" into the river. This indicates that the plague has been driven away, and people can have a safe year.
