education
At present, there are three teaching classes in junior middle schools, with more than 300 teachers and students. The school has been running for more than 200 years since 1742, which is the oldest school in Nanchong.
In 1742, Wang Hao, a local Jinshi, returned to his hometown in his later years to donate money to build a house and set up Nanchi Academy. In 1912, Mr. He ganhou, a local student, led his neighbors to Qibao temple to fight for Bodhisattvas and get rid of feudal superstition. Later, he expelled monks, extracted temple property, recovered and managed all the gardens, and founded Qibao Temple senior primary school (formerly Jinbao Township senior primary school).
In 1948, some celebrities, such as Luo Kezheng, he Bozhuang, Li chenchu, etc. started the private Nanchi middle school. They overcame many difficulties and tried their best to maintain it for more than a year until the founding of new China.
famous scenery
Here, the picturesque Xihe River draws an S-shaped curve, and the zangzhu mountain is surrounded by water on three sides, with a majestic cliff. In the elegant environment of mountains and rivers and lush trees, there is a large area of Ming and Qing buildings in the forest. A memorial archway built in the Ming Dynasty stands at the end of the long stone steps.
Qibao temple is composed of archway gate, front hall, main hall, Wenchang building, Kuixing building, Nanchi academy and veranda. It rises and falls with the mountain. It is a courtyard style hall, covering an area of about 3000 square meters.
Qibao temple is a place with profound history, which was a famous place in Nanchong in Ming Dynasty. In 1534, the 22nd year of emperor Shizong's Jiajing reign, Yang Zhan was appointed as Sichuan's envoy. He visited northern Sichuan and lived in Shunqing and Baoning. One day, when he came to zangzhu mountain, he saw that the temples of Qibao temple were rotten, so he ordered the abbot to renovate them to preserve the historic sites. Seeing that the Nanchi bridge at the foot of the mountain was on the verge of collapse, he was very worried, so he said to Wang Xinzhi, the magistrate of Nanchong: "this bridge is the main road of Nanchong, Xichong and Pengxi. If the bridge breaks down and hurts the people, it will be the fault of the magistrate." Deeply ashamed, Wang Xinzhi immediately allocated funds to rebuild it, and Yang Zhan took it as an example
The bridge is named Guonan bridge. People feel their kindness, known as "Yanggong bridge". The bridge, with 21 holes and a total length of 54 meters, is like a rainbow, spanning both sides of the Strait. It has survived for hundreds of years.
Qibao Temple originally had seven main halls, but today there are still five well preserved ones. Although they were built in different periods of Ming and Qing Dynasties, they are all built on the mountain, skillfully linked, echoing each other and integrated.
There are five temples in Qibao temple. Although they were built in different periods of Ming and Qing Dynasties, they are all built in accordance with the mountains. They are skillfully linked and echo each other. The first is the mountain gate, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. It is a wooden structure with a bucket. It was built in 1753, the 18th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The second building is the front hall, which was built in 1708, the 47th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The structure has a bucket roof truss and a suspended Hill roof. On the hanging rock below, there are still ancient tombs of the Western Han Dynasty. The third building is the main hall, which is also today's auditorium. There are dozens of Zen houses on both sides, which is the main body of the whole building. The main hall was rebuilt in 1518, with a timber structure and a single eaves roof. The fourth building is Wenchang Palace (also known as Kuixing building). It was built in 1722, the 61st year of Emperor Kangxi's reign. The fifth building is Nanchi academy, built in Qingqian
In 1754, it was a two-story building built on the mountain. All of these houses have maintained the architectural styles and styles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and are rare ancient architectural communities in Nanchong.
In Buddhist classics, gold, silver, Tridacna, agate, amber, glass and coral are the seven treasures. The name of Qibao temple on zangzhu mountain should be because it treasures these treasures. Today's seven Treasures Temple, no trace of these treasures, but I think, this set of revolutionary cradle, education hot land, tourist resort in one place, its seven treasures, should be given new connotation!
