Chuanzhu town is a town set up in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province by withdrawing villages and establishing towns. According to the reply of Sichuan Provincial People's Government on approving Emeishan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships, it is agreed that Emeishan City will abolish Chuanzhu Township and set up another Chuanzhu town. The administrative region of Chuanzhu township will be the administrative region of Chuanzhu Town, and the people's Government of Chuanzhu town will be stationed at No. 18, echuan road.

In December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government agreed to abolish the main town of Sichuan and put its administrative region under the jurisdiction of suishan town.
