Qingyaoshan town is located in the northwest of Xin'an County, 30 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Beiye town in the East, Shijing town in the north, Shisi town in the southeast, and Mianchi County in Sanmenxia City in the southwest. The transportation is convenient. S314 highway, CaoShi highway, Cangqing highway and other main roads run through the whole town, with a total area of 142 square kilometers.

Qingyaoshan town was set up in Xin'an County, Luoyang City, Henan Province by withdrawing the township and establishing a town. With the approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, it is agreed that caorcun township should be abolished and qingyaoshan town should be established in Xin'an County of Luoyang City.
