Zhouxing Town, formerly under the jurisdiction of Longchang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northeast of Longchang City, 12.5km away from the urban area. It is located in the junction of Sichuan and Chongqing, on the important port line and traffic arteries. In the northeast, it borders Longji and Panlong town of Rongchang District, Chongqing, and in the west, it borders Jiji and Purun, and in the south, it borders Shimian. The whole town covers an area of 24 square kilometers, which is a typical town with more farmland and less soil. The terrain in the town is gentle and hilly, with only a few hills and low slopes distributed along the southern bolinsi reservoir. The soil in the town is mainly light soil to medium yellow soil, with sandy soil and sandy soil distributed in the low slope area of Fangshan, with fertile soil and good farming performance.

In December 2019, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Zhouxing town was cancelled, and the administrative area of wangbuzheng village in Zhouxing town was put under the jurisdiction of Jieshi Town, and the people's Government of Jieshi town was stationed at No. 59, Jiexin North Road; the administrative area of zhouxingchang community, kaijiazui village, wumachao village, chazishan village, fenghuangmiao village, fudongsi village, lanjiatian village, huanghuasi village, qinjiamiao village and banzhulin village in Zhouxing town The area is under the jurisdiction of Purun Town, No. 891, north section of Zhuwai street, people's Government of Purun town.

”The industrial management mode, taking "Oriental rice" as the forerunner, makes every effort to create "Zhouxing rice", a "green and pollution-free high-quality agricultural product", enriches the life of urban and rural people, and promotes the development of agricultural industrialization construction of the whole town and even Longchang city. The project was approved by the county government in 2001 and started to implement in the same year. The construction of 6000 mu production base has been completed. We have established a technical guarantee system and quality control system for the whole process from seed supply, application of medicine and fertilizer to purchase and reserve, built a 200 mu demonstration base for new varieties and new technologies, and established affiliated cooperative relationship with provincial agricultural academy, County Agricultural Bureau and seed company. The first phase project of Longchang Zhouxing rice processing Co., Ltd., a leading leading enterprise, was completed and put into operation in 2002, with an annual production capacity of 5000 tons. A series of "Zhouxing rice" products have been developed. The second phase reconstruction and expansion project was fully launched in 2003, and the production capacity will double after expansion. Economic characteristics

Zhouxing town's commercial circulation and market economy have always been prosperous. The famous "three Bais" of Longchang, namely Xiabu, Dongxiang rice and Ronglong white pig, originated or flourished in this area. Shangrong and Longnei are the leading Xiabu production and trading markets. Their products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions in Southeast Asia. In recent years, the town has established various industry management and service associations around the commercial Daxing market There are two modern supermarkets, one agricultural market and one chemical fiber textile products trading market. The business activities have been greatly promoted and further developed. The territory has a prosperous economy, developed commerce and trade, and good public security. It is known as "Little Hong Kong" in Longchang. With the rapid development of industrial enterprises, there are two county-level enterprises, South Sichuan construction (Group) Company and Hongfeng Electric Appliance Factory, one county-level key supporting enterprise, Longchang Zhouxing rice processing Co., Ltd., and six A-level credit enterprises in the city. The output value and benefit of the enterprises have increased year by year.
