Qiangken Township, belonging to Boli County, Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Boli County. It is adjacent to Changxing Township, Xinxing District, Qitaihe City in the East, Qingshan Township in the south, Boli town in the West and Xingshu Korean Township in the north. In 2018, the area of the reclamation area was 88.6 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 13965.

Historical evolution

In 1933, Sanhe, qiangken and xianianzihe were assigned to the 15th class.

In the thirtieth year of the Republic of China (1941), Sanhe Village was set up, with jurisdiction over eight villages such as qiangken.

In November 1945, 15 villages, such as Sanhe and qiangken, were assigned to the third district, which was located in Zhongxing village.

In 1951, it was classified as District 9.

In 1956, it changed to rob Ken township.

In September 1958, it was changed to rob Ken commune.

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
