Zhongtu town

Zhongtu Town, subordinate to Cangxi County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, is located in the north of Sichuan Province and the east of Cangxi County. The East River runs through the whole area, connecting Laoguan town and Fangshan Township of Langzhong City in the East, Yunfeng town in the south, and Yuanba town in the West and North. Town government in Fuxing community Hedong maxihao, 25 kilometers away from Cangxi County. It covers an area of 31.29 square kilometers, governs 1 community and 12 administrative villages, with a total population of 9626 in 2017.

During the period of the Republic of China, it was called zhongtuchang at the beginning of the Republic of China. After the Tuya Township in Langzhong was partially divided into zhongtuchang and Tuya, it was renamed zhongtuchang. In 1951, it was established as zhongtuxiang, in 1958 it was changed into zhongtuxiang people's commune, in 1984 it was restored, in 1992 it was incorporated into Yuanba Town, in 1994 it was restored, and in March 2014 it was rebuilt. Guanyin temple, a cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province, is located in the territory.

Zhongtu town is home to the world's rare ultra deep and high sulfur bioherm gas field, with proven natural gas reserves of 219.4 billion cubic meters by 2014, and Sinopec Yuanba gas field has been put into operation. In 2011, the agricultural output value of Zhongtu town was 39.55 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 15.8 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4076 yuan.

In May 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some villages and towns in Cangxi County and other three counties (cfzm [2020] No. 1): cancel Zhongtu town and put the administrative area of the former Zhongtu town under the jurisdiction of Yuanba town.

History of construction

the Republic of China era

In September 1933, the Fourth Front Army of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army established the rural Soviet regime in sandushi.

In October 1934, the Soviet regime was established in Guanyin temple.

In 1935, it belonged to Wangdu Township and Yuanba township (Lianbao).

In 1945, it belonged to Yuanzhong township.

In 1948, some villages of Tuya Township in Langzhong county were assigned to sandushi and Guanyin Temple in Cangxi County. Zhongtuchang was named after zhongzhongchang and Tuya Township respectively.

New China period

In 1951, the people's Government of Zhongtu township was established.

In 1958, Zhongtu township was changed into Zhongtu people's commune.

It was restored to Zhongtu Township in 1984.

In October 1992, Zhongtu township was abolished and merged into Yuanba town to set up Zhongtu office.

In October 1994, Zhongtu township was restored.

In March 2014, Sichuan Provincial People's government officially approved the removal of Zhongtu Township from township to town, and implemented the system of town governing village, with the original administrative region and government residence unchanged.

In May 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to cancel Zhongtu town and put the administrative region of the former Zhongtu town under the jurisdiction of Yuanba town.

Location context

Zhongtu town is located in the north of Sichuan Province and the east of Cangxi County. It is 25 km away from the county seat, between 31 ° 37 ′ n to 32 ° 10 ′ N and 105 ° 43 ′ e to 106 ° 28 ′ e. it is adjacent to Laoguan town and Fangshan Township of Langzhong City in the East, Wangdu community of Yunfeng town in the south, dianzi Office of Yuanba town in the West and Yuanba town in the north, covering an area of 31.29 square kilometers.

Zhongtu town is located in the north of Sichuan Basin. It belongs to deep Hill landform. The soil is yellow, red and purple soil. The whole terrain is higher in the East and West, lower in the middle. The top of the mountain is relatively flat and the valley is open. There are many river terraces along the East River. The general altitude is 400-650 meters. The highest altitude is 708.4 meters in Fanjia mountain of Baixi village, and the lowest altitude is 368 meters in Caijia river of Renhe village. Zhongtuchang is 385m above sea level.

Zhongtu town has a subtropical monsoon humid climate with four distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is 17.3 "C, the average temperature in January is 9.2 ℃, the average temperature in July is 28.7 ℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 39.7 ℃, and the minimum temperature is - 4.2 ℃. The temperature difference between day and night is 7 ℃. The annual frost free period is 280-300 days. The average annual rainfall is 880 mm. Summer, summer drought and autumn flood.

Donghe River (also known as Songjiang River), a tributary of Jialing River, flows through Zhongtu town from north to south. The water area of Liyuan hydropower station reservoir area is 11000 mu.

Oil and gas resources

As of 2014, the proven natural gas reserves are 219.4 billion cubic meters, and the average buried depth of the gas reservoir is about 6700 meters. It has the characteristics of ultra deep, high temperature, high sulfur content, multi pressure system, and complex gas water relationship. It is a rare ultra deep and high sulfur bioherm gas field in the world, and also one of the most difficult and risky gas fields in the world.

According to the data of the fifth national census, in 2000, Zhongtu town had a total population of 10553 people, including 5401 men and 5152 women; there were 2993 households, including 10479 people, including 5365 men and 5114 women. The first phase built a purified gas capacity of 1.7 billion cubic meters, with an annual acid gas treatment capacity of 4 billion cubic meters, an annual purified gas capacity of 3.4 billion cubic meters, an annual sulfur capacity of about 300000 tons, and a total sulfur recovery rate of more than 99.8%.
