Chen Jiangxiang

Chenjiang township is located on the Bank of Jialing River in the south of Yuanba District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, bordering Hutiao town in the East, qingniu Township in the South and Trojan horse and Jiangkou towns in jiangge County in the northwest. It covers an area of 31.65 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 40 groups of 6 villages, with a total population of 3777 (2017), Han nationality. The township government is located in shibanliang, 51 km away from Yuanba town. It was named after chenjiakou, where the township was built in the early days.

History research and Reform

At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was a part of Shen banner in jiyangli. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Hutiao Township, also known as Shenqi. Later, the establishment of Shenqi was cancelled, and it was directly under the three guarantees of Hutiao township. From February 26 to March 36, 1934, the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army established three Soviet villages in the territory, and the Red Army transferred the Soviet regime and disappeared. From 1934 to 1949, the establishment of rural insurance and its jurisdiction remained unchanged. In 1950, the original three guarantees were divided into four villages and four agricultural associations were established, which were subordinate to Hutiao Rural Agricultural Association. In March 1951, Chen's hometown people's government was formally established. In February 1952, Chenjiawan to Jiangkou changtou in Gaobei village was assigned to Jiangkou Township in jiangge County; dongzipo to zhangshuba in leiming village was assigned to Hutiao Township, and the rest of the area was divided into six administrative villages. After Zhaohua county was incorporated into Guangyuan County in 1956, Chen's hometown was changed to Chenjiang Township because of the repeated name of the township. In 1980, the commune moved to shibanliang, and in 1984, it was changed into a township. It was incorporated into Hutiao town in 1992. Chenjiang township was restored in 1995. On December 24, 2019, Chenjiang township was incorporated into Hutiao town.

Township Construction

Chenjiang township is located on the Bank of Jialing River, with fertile land and suitable climate. It is rich in rape. The township party committee and government made full use of the central government's subsidy policy of 10 yuan per mu to mobilize farmers' enthusiasm for rape production, and promoted the substantial growth of rape planting area, yield and farmers' income. The main methods are as follows:

1、 Extensive publicity, in-depth mobilization to farmers.

The first is to establish a rape production leading group with the head of the Township People's government as the group leader, the head of the Township Agricultural Station as the Deputy group leader, and the director of each village committee and the head of each community as the members, which is responsible for the rape production of the whole township; the second is to hold a mass meeting with the village or community organizations, repeatedly study and publicize the central rape subsidy policy, guide farmers to scientifically calculate the economic benefit account of planting rape, and let farmers know The third is to organize farmers to voluntarily declare rape planting area without forcing orders

Second, unified planning and verification of subsidies to farmland. In July 2007, after deeply reflecting on the stagnant situation of rape production, the township party committee and government formulated a plan to popularize "hope 98", "Zhongyouza No. 11" and "Mianyou No. 14" high-yield and high-quality "double low" Brassica napus varieties in the whole Township, and comprehensively carry out rice seedling transplanting. Combined with the implementation of rape subsidy policy, the rape planting area was planned from household to field, registered and recorded, and the rape planting account was established.

3、 Scientific demonstration, technical service to the end.

First, three-level demonstration to enhance the leading role. The township government established 370 mu of high-yield demonstration film in communities 2 and 3 of Luojiang village, 3 and 4 of leiming village and 6 and 7 of Zijin village. At the same time, each village has established 50 mu of high-yield demonstration plots, and each community has established 30 mu of high-yield demonstration plots. Township, village and community level demonstration enhanced the leading role of science and technology; second, the technical training, seedling raising time, transplanting specifications, formulated fertilization, pest forecasting and pesticide formulation were unified; third, the whole process of technical guidance and tracking service was not interrupted from planting to harvest.

4、 Increase production and income, farmers are grateful to the Party Central Committee.

In 2008, 3604 mu of rape were planted in the township. According to the field forecast, the yield per mu could reach more than 200 kg, and the total yield could reach 721 tons. According to the current market price of 6 yuan per kg, the income could reach 4.326 million yuan, an increase of 53.36%, 26.58%, 94.34% and 366.42% respectively over the previous year. In the face of a bumper harvest of rape and increased income, farmers are grateful to the Party Central Committee for its good policy.
