Weizi town
It is adjacent to Jinxian and Ziyun townships in the East, Meishu Township in the north, shijingpu and Baiguo in the west, and bolingou town in the south. It has jurisdiction over 7 villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 51 villager groups, Han nationality. The people's Government of the town is located in Weizi temple, 18 kilometers away from Yuanba town. In the Tang Dynasty, the temple was built in Changnan mountain, which was named mingkongyuan. Because the top of the mountain is like a Mopan, it is also called Zisi. In the 1960s, the word "Wei Zi Si" was changed from "Zi Si" to "Wei Zi Si". The town is named after Weizi temple. In 1933, meishupu Soviet was established in Jialing county. In 1935, it belonged to the Bailong joint protection office. In 1940, it belonged to Bolong township. Jianzi township was established in 1951, belonging to Xinchang District of Guangyuan County. In 1953, Xiezi township was merged into Shijing Township and Xinchang Township respectively. In 1961, it was divided into three brigades of Xinchang Commune: Zi, happy and Heping, and four brigades of Meishu Commune: Jinhua, Xinmin, Lianhe and Tuanjie. In 1965, Xinchang district office moved to Weizi district. In 1966, the Xinrong brigade of Jinxian commune was included, and in 1984, Weizi commune was changed into Weizi township. In 1985, it belonged to the Central District of Guangyuan City. In 1987, Weizi township was changed to Weizi town. In 1989, Weizi District Office was withdrawn, belonging to Yuanba district. In 1992, Jinxian and Meishu townships were merged into Weizi Town, and Jinhua village was divided into Yuanba town. In 1995, Jinxian and Meishu were separated.
On December 23, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Qingchuan county and other four counties (districts) (cfzm [2019] No. 26): Jinxian Township, Meishu Township, Baiguo Township and shijingpu town were abolished, and Zhongshan village, Qianqiu village and Baomin village in Jinxian Township, potential village, Chunhua village, Chuanxin village, Meiling village, Meishu village and Xinli village in Meishu Township were replaced Village, the former Shizi village and Tianyan village of Baiguo Township and the former shijingpu community, shijingpu village, Longkou village, Xinchang village, Yuanbai village, banmiao village, Chadian village, xiaojiazhai village and miaoerding village of shijingpu town are under the jurisdiction of Weizi Town, and the people's Government of Weizi town is located at 110 Fushun street.

In December 2019, Guangyuan Municipal People's government decided to abolish Jinxian Township, Meishu Township, Baiguo Township and shijingpu Town, and replace Zhongshan village, Qianqiu village and Baomin village of Jinxian Township, potential village, Chunhua village, Chuanxin village, Meiling village, Meishu village and Xinli village of Meishu Township, Shizi village, Tianyan Village of Baiguo Township and shijingpu community, Shijing village, Longkou village, Xinchang village and Yuanbai village of shijingpu town Village, banmiao village, Chadian village, xiaojiazhai village and miaoerding village are under the jurisdiction of Weizi town. The people's Government of Weizi town is located at 110 Fushun street.

Township Construction
On April 1, 2008, the second phase of the 2008 labor poverty alleviation training in Zhaohua district was held in Weizi town. In order to facilitate the poor farmers to participate in the training nearby and minimize the extra expenses of the poor farmers, Yuanba District Poverty Alleviation Office, through the negotiation between Guangyuan vocational high school and Yuanba district vocational high school, moved the training class to Weizi Town, where the traffic is convenient and the trainees are concentrated. The secondary vocational school rented transportation tools to transport 10 welding machines to the agricultural machinery factory of Weizi Town, Yuanba District, built a welder practice workshop, and rented 42 computers from local Internet cafes as computer operation sites. In order to ensure the quality and effect of the training, Yuanba District Poverty Alleviation Office sent staff to the training site to track and manage, and the school sent young and experienced teachers to conduct on-site theoretical teaching and operation skills guidance. 81 migrant workers participated in the training, including 31 welders and 50 computers.
