Sier Tibetan Township
Sier Tibetan township is located in the southwest of Pingwu County, Sichuan Province. It is located in the southeast corner of Xuebaoding, the main peak of Minshan Mountain, and at the junction of Pingwu, Beichuan and Songpan counties. It is 168 kilometers away from Mianyang. Historically, it is the settlement of baicaofan people. The village's tea house (called gawo in Tibetan) is more than 240 kilometers away from the county seat. It has jurisdiction over 3 villages and 11 communities, with a total population of 793 (2017), covering an area of 400.46 square kilometers and a forest coverage rate of more than 85%. hydrology
