Baipo Yi nationality township is located in the northwest of Miyi County, Sichuan Province. Nanbaji Town, where the township government is located, is 50 kilometers away from the county seat and is close to Ertan Reservoir area. It is adjacent to Dechang County in the East, Yanbian county and Yanyuan County in the north and Deshi Town, Puwei town and Malong Township in the south. With an area of 341.2 square kilometers, the township is not only the largest remote minority Township in Miyi County, but also the largest immigrant Township in Miyi County. The township governs 10 villages and 48 cooperatives with a total population of 7378 (2017).
