History of construction
In 1912, Chenshi street was called chenshichang. In 1930, it was divided into Chen shilao Chang and Chen Shixin Chang. In 1935, the new and old food markets were merged into Chen's joint insurance. In 1940, Chen Shi Lianbao was changed to Chen Shi Xiang. After 1949, it belongs to the third district.
In 1958, Chenshi township was changed into Chenshi commune.
In 1985, it was changed from Chenshi township to Chenshi town.
In September 1992, mayin Township and Lianghe Township were merged into Chenshi town.
In November 2003, Lianhua town was merged into Chenshi town.
On October 21, 2009, Chenshi town was abolished and Chenshi street was established.
