Zhuyang town

Zhuyang Town, belonging to Jiangjin District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Jiangjin district. It is adjacent to Shimen town and Youxi town in the East, Shiyao town in the south, Songji town and Hegeng town in Yongchuan District in the west, and Hegeng town in Yongchuan District in the north. It is 56 kilometers away from the people's Government of Jiangjin District, with a total area of 58.02 square kilometers.

In the early Qing Dynasty, Zhuyang town belonged to sisanli, Jiangjin County; in September 1985, it was changed from Zhuyang township to Zhuyang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Zhu Yang town was 33134. As of June 2020, Zhuyang town has three communities and one administrative village, and the town people's government is stationed in Zhenxing community.

In 2018, there were 22 industrial enterprises in Zhuyang Town, including one above scale and 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the early Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to sishanli, Jiangjin County; after 1694, the territory belonged to the seven capitals; in 1910, the autonomous association of towns and townships was established, and the territory belonged to Qixing Town.

In 1921, it belonged to the seventh district. In 1935, it belonged to the joint protection of Banqiao in four districts. In 1938, it belonged to Shimen experimental township. In 1939, Shimen experimental township was abolished, belonging to Banqiao township.

In 1950, it belonged to Banqiao Township, the third district.

In March 1953, Zhuyang township was established from Banqiao township.

In 1956, Pufu township was merged into Zhuyang township.

In September 1958, Zhuyang township was transformed into Zhuyang commune.

In March 1984, it was changed from Zhuyang commune to Zhuyang township.

In September 1985, it was changed from Zhuyang township to Zhuyang town.

In December 1993, Banqiao township was merged into Zhuyang town.

By the end of 2011, Zhuyang town had jurisdiction over three communities of Zhenxing, Limin and Banqiao, one administrative village of Banqiao, 30 resident groups and 5 villager groups.

As of June 2020, Zhuyang town has three communities and one administrative village: Zhenxing community, Limin community, Banqiao community and Qiaoping village, and the town people's government is stationed in Zhenxing community.
