Apengjiang Town, belonging to Qianjiang District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Qianjiang District, adjacent to Jindong Township in the East, Heishui town of Youyang County in the south, ECHI town and Shuishi Township in the west, Zhuoshui town in the north, 48 kilometers away from the people's Government of Qianjiang District, with a total area of 172.25 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1735, it belonged to shangjili of Youyang County.

In 1928, when Youyang Prefecture set up four road townships in the East, West, North and south, it was called Beisan township. In 1935, it was renamed Lianghe Township, belonging to the third district of Xiyang County.

In February 1952, Lianghe township was divided into Longtian township.
