Zhangshan street was approved by the people's Government of Hubei Province on April 28, 2014.

On April 28, 2014, with the approval of the people's Government of Hubei Province, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved the cancellation of Xisaishan sub district office and the establishment of Zhangshan sub district office in Xisaishan District of Huangshi City (e civil affairs Letter No. 166), and agreed to adjust the following administrative divisions in Xisaishan District of Huangshi City: the cancellation of Xisaishan sub district office and the replacement of shileishan, dapaishan, daoshifu, Liangshan and fengbogang under its jurisdiction The village committee is under the jurisdiction of Hekou town.
