Longyin town
Longyin town belongs to Pu'an County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is located in the north of Pu'an County, bordering Zhongying town of Qinglong County in the East, Xingzhong town of the county in the south, Baoji township of panzhou city in the West and Yezhong township of Shuicheng County across the Beipan River in the north. It was named Longyin in 1936, and Longyin town was established in 1992. The people's Government of the town was stationed in Hongqi community. The town covers an area of 178.5 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over Xiaodong village, Yinlu village, Yintang village, shigu village, Wenbi village, Gaoyang village, Beipanjiang village and Hongqi community, including 7 villages and 1 community, 111 villager groups and 5060 households. Miao, Buyi, Han and other ethnic groups live in the territory, with a population of 23434 at the end of 2010, and 23107 ethnic minorities, accounting for 98.6% of the total population.
