Shapingba District of Chongqing Municipality governs the streets. It is located in the east of the area, on the South Bank of Jialing River. Evolution of organizational system

Surrounded by streams, the surname Zhan lived together in the Qing Dynasty, so it was named Zhan Jiaxi. The office of civil affairs was established in 1953, and the office of 451 factory was established in 1954. In 1959, it was renamed the factory people's Committee. In 1960, it merged with Shijingpo town and changed into Shuangbei commune. In October of the same year, zhanjiaxi street was restored. In 1996, it covers an area of 2.8 square kilometers and has a population of nearly 30000. It administers 12 neighborhood committees named after ordinal numbers. In 2015, zhanjiaxi street was renamed Shuangbei street.
