Baihe Town is located in the north of Taizhou City, known as the north gate of Taizhou. The town covers an area of 143.34 square kilometers (2017), with 83 administrative villages and 55735 people (2017). It became the central town of Zhejiang Province in 2010. It is 12 kilometers away from the county. Shangsan Expressway and national highway 104 run through the whole area, with shangsan expressway exit (baihedian).
