Fangcun town is located in the northeast of Changshan County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, 21 kilometers away from the county, with a total area of 148.7 square kilometers (2017). Historical evolution

Fangcun town is the Northeast business center and agricultural and sideline products distribution center of Changshan County. Jianfang village was established in 1949, changed to commune in 1961, changed to township in 1983, and established a town in 1984. At the end of 2005, Furong township system was abolished in our county. Five administrative villages of Furong Township, including Guxi, Jinchuan, lingshanggeng, xiushugeng and Xiushu, were assigned to Fangcun town; four administrative villages, Duiwu, ankeng, banyuan and xilingjiao, were assigned to Xinchang township. In 2008, Jinghe village, Dongtan Township, was put under the jurisdiction of Fangcun town. Fangcun is an ancient town with a long history, simple folk customs and special aura. Ancient Architectural Buildings

The ancient buildings in Dachu village were built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 200 years. It is generally composed of "three bridges, two squares and one ancestral temple". The main feature is that they are relatively concentrated. They are all located in the same village. Denggao bridge, Tongshan bridge and Leji bridge are built on a small stream flowing through the village. The three bridges are not far apart, and the bridge is only tens of meters away from Jiexiao archway and Zheng ancestral temple. Among them, there are clear chronological characters in Sanqiao and Yifang. Although there is no clear chronological characters in Zheng's ancestral hall, its architectural style has the characteristics of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. although the three ancient bridges are small in scale, they are exquisitely shaped and well preserved. The longest Tongshan bridge is about 8.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, all of which are built with green stone strips and paved with green stone slabs. On the right side of Tongshan bridge, there is a bridge pavilion, offering sacrifices to general Wumian inside, and on the side of it, there are earth Gongpo temple, ancient bridge stele, etc.

Memorial archway of filial piety

It was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong. It was built entirely of qingtiaoshi. On the square pillars are engraved with the poem couplet "young people like ambition, song of yellow swan, white hair, honor to liangni" and the date of construction "Qianlong". The single-sided Baogu stone here is quite exquisite. Zheng's ancestral hall beside the memorial archway of Jiexiao was built in the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in 1939. Two pairs of flagpoles in front of the door. In the ancestral hall, there is still a record of repairing ancestral hall, which is written by Taigong and the wall. There is also a stage in the temple, and the indoor wood carvings are also fine and simple. The whole building is not only exquisite in shape, but also of high artistic value, and it is well preserved. Maybe it's because of the materials. For many years, there are no spiders, no flies, no birds in the temple. It's very cool in summer. There are many kinds of plaques and couplets in the ancestral hall of the Zheng family. There are statues in the hall and various patterns on the walls, which vividly represent the past life scenes of the Zheng family.

There are 25 administrative village committees and 1 neighborhood committee in Fangcun, shangyouge, xiayouge, yougekou, Yatang, dawupeng, Xinfu, Xishan, Qianxi, Hongqiling, tongbangang, linghoudian, shibidi, Dachu, bankeng, jiehu, hebianshan, Qianjin, Shitang, Guxi, Jinchuan, lingshanggeng, xiushugeng, Xiushu, Jinghe.
