Siling town
According to the reply document of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region GZH [2017] No. 110 on tongyiling township's withdrawal from township to town, the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region officially approved the establishment of Siling town on June 14, 2017. On September 20, 2017, the unveiling ceremony of Siling town was solemnly held in the town government.
Siling town is located in the southwest of Wuxuan County, Laibin City, 30 kilometers away from Wuxuan County. It borders Tongling town in the East, Shiya town in Xingbin District in the west, Tongwan town and Donglong town in Guigang City in the south, and Luxin town in the north. With an administrative area of 85.1 square kilometers, the town governs 9 administrative villages, 27 natural villages and 98 villager groups in Shuanglin, Mashan, Shanwen, Silao, lingchi, Guzhang, Taiping, Gantang and Chaodong, with a total population of 30052. The common cultivated land area is 33795 mu, including 12357 mu of paddy field, 21348 mu of dry land, and 16850 mu of sugarcane planting area, including 9860 mu of high yield and high sugar sugarcane base.

Regionalization
In 1990, there were 28 villages in the town. Siling village is the residence of the people's government. The natural villages are: bapeng, Shanxing, Shantou, xiawen, Taocun, Guzhang, Liuwei, Mashan, Sicun, Ping'an, Gu Lei, Siling, lingchi, Gu tie, Silao, Pangu, Babu, Waihe, Gantang, Zhizha, Helong, Gaoling, Taiping, Futian, dingbi, Chaodong, Sipan, Shuanglin.
Historical evolution
In January 1958, Siling was removed from the district to build a township, and Siling township was established. In the same year, it was changed into Siling people's commune. In September 1962, the commune system was changed to district system, and Siling was divided into Luxin district and Tongwan district. It belonged to Luxin New Area in 1964, Luxin commune in 1966, Siling Township in 1984 and Wuxuan County. In 2017, Siling town was established by withdrawing villages and establishing towns.

In 1990, the annual output of soybean was 541 tons, and the annual output of corn accounted for 26.2% of the total grain output.
