Laren town
Laren town is under the jurisdiction of Du'an County, Hechi City, Guangxi Province. It is located in the northeast of Du'an Yao Autonomous County. It borders Beiya Township and Beishan township of Yizhou City in the East, Jiudu Township and Jiagui Township in the south, Banling Township and Yong'an Township in the west, and Lali Township and Longtou township of Yizhou City in the north. In May 2016, GZH [2016] No. 22 removed the township to establish a town.
On May 15, 2016, the original Laren township of Du'an Yao Autonomous County was changed from township level to urban level, and a listing ceremony was held. So far, the establishment of towns has increased to 9 out of 19 towns in Du'an County. it is reported that laren town is located in the northeast of Du'an, with a population of 27000 at the end of 2015 and nine administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The removal of villages and towns will help the government to concentrate financial and material resources for construction, provide conditions for the expansion of the scale of small and medium-sized towns in the county, and add new impetus to vigorously promote the construction of new urbanization.
