Qixue Township, founded in 1984, is located in the northeast of Donglan county. The township government is 35 kilometers away from the county. It borders Wuai town of Nandan county in the north, Aidong town in the West and Southeast, and Sanwang township of Jinchengjiang District in the northeast. The township has 5 villagers' committees, 74 villagers' groups, 84 natural villages, and 8062 farmers.

Qieque Township, with a total area of 84 square kilometers, is an earth rock mountainous area, of which the soil slope area accounts for about two-thirds, and the total cultivated land area is 5959 mu, including 2500 mu of paddy field, 3459 mu of dry land, and 2022 mu of river irrigation area.

The land here is fertile and the climate is suitable, which is very conducive to agricultural production. The highest peak in the territory is niudongpo, Qingshan, Natang village, with an altitude of 1209 meters, and the township government is located at an altitude of 412 meters. The main rivers are qieque River, which flows into the territory of pola from east to west through banlie village and qieque village. There are many tributaries along the river, which are rich in water resources. The main economic crops are chestnut, Tung fruit, Chinese fir, Camellia oleifera, star anise, plum fruit, watermelon and so on. It is one of the main chestnut producing areas in the "hometown of Chinese chestnut". The forest coverage rate of the township is 64%, ranking first in the county. The main food crops are rice, corn, soybean and so on. Qixue township has a pleasant climate, outstanding people and simple customs. Since the reform and opening up, the infrastructure has been continuously improved, the economic construction has been greatly developed, and the traffic conditions are convenient. In the south, there is Dongjiu (Donglan to Jiuwei) second-class highway, which passes through the territory from west to East, and the second-class highway from Tian'e to Nandan can be reached out of the north gate. In 2002, the GDP of the township reached 10.8 million yuan, the total grain output was 1703 tons, the fiscal revenue was 300000 yuan, and the per capita net income was 807 yuan.
