Established on November 15, 1993, bianling township is located in the northwest of Jinchengjiang District, Hechi City, Guangxi Province, covering a vast area of 162 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Bagong town in the East, Hechi town in the south, and CHEHE town and Bawei Yao Township in Nandan county in the northwest. It has jurisdiction over five administrative villages, one community, 107 natural villages and 98 Village (inhabitant) groups. At the end of 2006, it has a total population of 10970 people, living in eight ethnic groups, including Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Mulao, Gaoshan and Buyi. Among them, the Yao nationality is Baiku Yao, with a population of about 1350. It is the only town where Baiku Yao inhabits in Jinchengjiang District of Hechi City, mainly distributed in the mountainous areas of Lahe village, Tangzi village and jiuliang village Villages. The existing cultivated land area is 160.41 million mu, including 122.78 million mu of paddy field and 3763 mu of dry land. There are seven reservoirs in the territory, which can effectively irrigate 4400 mu of farmland. The main crops are rice, corn, wheat, cassava, soybean, etc. in 2004, the total output of rice exceeded 6270 tons, a record high. It is an important grain production area in Jinchengjiang district. The people's Government of Xieling township is located in Xieling street of Xieling Township, with convenient transportation. The Guizhou Guangxi railway passes through the territory. The highway connects nandanbawei to CHEHE asphalt road, which leads to zhairen class II Highway. It is 53 km away from the urban railway of Jinchengjiang district and 74 km away from the highway.

The main crops are rice, sugarcane, corn, wheat, vegetables, high-quality peach, plum and pear, fruit cane, rape, etc. the total annual grain output reaches 5640 tons, which is an important grain production area in Jinchengjiang district. Second, it is rich in forest resources. The stone mountains and hills are all suitable for forestry, with forest coverage of more than 80%. At the same time, it is also the most suitable for the development of high-quality fruit forest projects. Thirdly, the silicon content of rocks is high. At present, there are three points, with many flat lands nearby and within 3 km from the side ridge station of Guizhou Guangxi railway. They are most suitable for mining, processing and smelting. The reserves are large, and the conservative calculation is no less than 40 million tons. The development prospect is very good. At present, we have successfully developed two large-scale quarrying enterprises with an investment scale of more than 3 million yuan.

The folk customs of Xieling township are simple, hospitable, and the national traditional sports are booming. Every year, a large-scale national traditional sports meeting is held in the township. It is also the hometown of gyroscope. Up to now, Yang Guanglu and Meng Jincheng, who are well-known in China and have achieved good results, have been trained. They have represented Guangxi for many times in various competitions such as the National Association of nationalities and have achieved good results. "Beating top" has become a traditional folk activity of bianling Township during the new year. In early 2011, bianling Township won the title of "hometown with national sports characteristics of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region" by the Sports Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Meanwhile, Yang Guanglu and Meng Jincheng were named as Inheritors of national sports.
