Xipanlou town is located 10 kilometers northwest of Lixin County. Located between 116 ° 04 ′ - 116 ° E and 33 ° 08 ′ - 33 ° 16 ′ n, it is adjacent to Chengguan town in the southeast, Chengbei town in the northeast, Jiangji town in the north, Sunji town in the northwest and Wangshi town in the southwest across the Xifei river. On October 1, 1970, Qingfu Railway (Suifu railway) was opened to traffic with Xipanlou station. In January 1972, Lixin County analyzed 11 brigades from Lixin, Liuji and Sunji communes and established "Xipanlou Town People's commune". In April 1975, Fanlou district was set up, under the jurisdiction of four communes, namely Xipanlou, laozhangji, Liuji and luxiaolou. In February 1992, the former Xipanlou town and laozhangji town were merged to form Xipanlou town. Xipanlou town is an important traffic town in Lixin County. Qingfu railway and S308 provincial road meet at Xipanlou. Jiefu Beng expressway, S306 provincial road and liwang highway pass through the town, so the traffic is very convenient. Since 1972, under the leadership of the local Party committee and government, the people of Xipanlou town have been digging ditches, building roads, digging wells, carrying trees, and vigorously building farmland water conservancy projects.
