Dizhou Town, located in the south of Jingxi City, is a town in Jingxi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Time of establishment

On May 19, 2016, Dizhou township of Jingxi city held the unveiling ceremony of withdrawing villages and establishing towns. Guan Hongfei, vice mayor of the Municipal People's government, presided over the ceremony and read out the reply of the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the withdrawal of Dizhou Township from township to town in Jingxi city. Liao Chang'an, deputy secretary of the municipal Party committee, and other leaders unveiled the name of Dizhou town.

Brief introduction to the town

Dizhou is 18 kilometers away from the county highway and 20 kilometers away from the Sino Vietnamese border. It borders Huadong town in the East, Ludong town and Anning Township in the west, Longbang town and Renzhuang Township in the South and Xinjing town in the north. Prefectures have set up towns instead of townships. They have jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages (streets) and 126 natural villages, with a total population of 30400 and a total area of 188.30 square kilometers.
