Napo town

Napo town is an ancient town with a long history. It was the seat of Tianyang County Government before 1959. The town government is 9 kilometers away from the county seat, and provincial road 20312 passes through the border. Geomorphology and economy

Napo town is located in the hinterland of Youjiang River Valley, and its landform is composed of plain, hill and stone mountain, thus forming three development paths with agriculture as the pillar industry in different regions. After the impoundment of Naji Navigation water control project, more than 700 mu of good farmland in Naduo, Nayin, Baifeng, Wantang and Donghong villages of the town were submerged due to the rising water level. The non main waterway area of the town is up to 8000 mu. Napo town river section has no strong wind and waves all year round, the water quality is clear and clean, and the annual average temperature is 21.5 ℃, which is very suitable for fish culture. In 2008, the Party committee and government of Napo town guided the villagers along the river to develop pollution-free cage fish culture. In order to develop this new industry and let the villagers in the inundated area find a new way to get rich, the town, on the one hand, released the "Introduction to investment promotion of net cage fish culture project in Napo town", through which the economic talents can do a good job of demonstration and driving.
