Yangan Township

Yangan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Pingle County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Pingle County, adjacent to Tong'an town in the East, Yuanyuan town in the southeast, Yuanyuan town in the south, Qinglong Township in the southwest, Zhangjia town and Qinglong Township in the West and northwest, Zhangjia town in the north, and Tong'an town in the northeast, with a total area of 73.78 square kilometers. History of construction

In the Republic of China, it was Yangan township.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, eight districts (Yang'an District) were established in August 1951.

In January 1958, after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, it was divided into three townships: Yang'an, Pingdi and Shuanghe. In September of the same year, the township was withdrawn and the Yang'an commune was established.

In 1962, Yang'an district was established.

In April 1969, the district was changed into a commune.

In 1984, Yang'an township was established.
