Taowei town

Taowei Town, belonging to Hengzhou City, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Hengzhou city. It is connected with Xiaoyi town in the East, Liantang Town in the south, Liujing town and Pingma town in the West and Shitang town in the north. The administrative area of Taowei town is 184.49 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tao Wei Town was 94034.

In 1958, it belonged to three townships of Taowei, Naliang and Longtou, which was the eighth District of Hengxian County. In 1962, Taowei district was set up. In 1968, Taowei commune was established in Taowei district. In October 1984, Taowei commune was abolished and Taowei township was established. In 1995, Taowei township was changed into Taowei town. As of June 2020, Taowei town has jurisdiction over one community and 18 administrative villages. The Township People's government is located at No. 80, Yongle Road, Taowei town.

History of construction

In 1958, it belonged to three townships of Taowei, Naliang and Longtou, which was the eighth District of Hengxian County.
