Feili town

Xingfu township is located in the west of Langxi County, 9 kilometers away from the county. It borders Nanfeng town in the East, Feili Township in the south, Nanyi Lake in the West and Dongxia town in the north. The township governs 5 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north. It is an inclined landform with low polder area in the north and hills in the south. Rivers, lakes, ponds and dams are scattered all over the territory. Ditches crisscross. Laolangchuan River and bridegroom river cross the territory from east to west and flow into Nanyi lake.

In 2017, the administrative area of Feili town was 13500 hectares, with a permanent resident population of 35980.

Geography and climate

It belongs to subtropical humid climate zone, with mild climate, abundant rainfall, significant monsoon, four distinct seasons, long frost free period, annual average temperature of 15.9 ℃, average rainfall of 1260 mm, mostly concentrated in May to August, forming flood season, suitable for crop production and living. Transportation: located in the southeast border of Anhui Province, shanxingyou road is connected with Ningwu Road, 318 National Road, 214 provincial road and Xuanhang railway, with convenient water and land transportation. Resource specialty: Xingfu township is a land of fish and rice in the southeast border of Anhui Province, with abundant water resources and fertile land. It is rich in rice, rape, aquatic products, waterfowl and lotus root, among which river crab and shellfish are the main products; in addition, rich yellow sand resources are also a major feature. The main industries are barley wine industry, happy fragrant rice and refined rice industry, bean products industry, shipping industry and special aquaculture.

While stabilizing the grain production, Xingfu Township combines the advantages of location and resources, takes the road of attracting investment by water and agriculture, actively encourages private investment, implements various preferential policies for private enterprises, and the private economy has achieved considerable development. By June 2006, the number of private enterprises with an investment of more than 500000 yuan had increased from 2 in 2000 to 24, and the per capita income of farmers had increased from several hundred yuan in 1988 to 2350 yuan in 2006. In 2005, Jiangsu Yixing Tianyi Group invested 12 million yuan in Nanyi Lake to start the infrastructure project of pearl breeding Park. The company intends to invest 150 million yuan in Nanyi Lake to build the largest freshwater breeding base in China, integrating breeding and sightseeing.
