Natong Town, belonging to Long'an County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Long'an County, bordering Dingdang town in the East, XiXiangTang District in the south, Qiaojian town in the West and Chengxiang town across the river in the north. The administrative area of natong town is 193.97 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 52354.

In February 1950, natong Township belonged to the third district of Long'an county. In September 1958, natong Township and Qiaojian Township merged to form Dongfeng commune. In June 1959, natong commune was established. In 1962, natong commune was changed into Natong district. In January 1969, Natong district was transformed into natong commune. In September 1984, natong commune was changed into natong town. As of June 2020, natong town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 11 administrative villages. The town people's government is in natong community.

Natong town is named after the town government's residence in natong community. The site was originally a slope, with a Wutong tree on the slope and a paddy field around it. "Na" in Zhuang language means "Tian".
